What is your favourite piece of artwork and why?
While I was in New York at Christmas, I visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art. I had been there many times before, but had never seen this particular painting. As I walked past the painting I was magnetised to it. I just love the expression on her face and the translucency of her skin. I am usually attracted to modern art and so was quite bemused at the attraction this painting had over me... I stayed and looked at it for quite some time before moving on. Unfortunately my photograph doesn't do the painting much justice... it is just beautiful.
